BALAFON (sold) It is 90 cm. long, and 34 cm. maximum wide. The frame is made of wood and rope. Under the planks, differently sized, some gourds work as resonance-boxes, giving a very sweet sound. The balafon is played with two sticks with rubber in their extremes.
